Some Changes and Related Update On GSA Schedule elibrary

GSA schedule elibrary (formerly Schedules e-Library) is the online source for the latest contract award information for:

  • GSA Schedules;

  • Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Schedules;

  • Technology Contracts, including Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs),

  • Network Services and Telecommunications Contracts, and Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70.

GSA schedule elibrary is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide up-to-date information on which suppliers have contracts and what items are available, by using various search options, such as:


Keywords;

  • Contract Number;

  • Contractor/Manufacturer Name;

  • Schedule Name, Schedule Number, Category/Sub-Category Name, or Category Number/Special Item Number (SIN); or

  • Technology Contract Name, Contract Number, or Category Name/Number.


GSA schedule elibrary also provides an Alphabetical Listing of Available Contractors, allowing customers to easily locate all Schedule and Technology Contracts for a particular company. An updated Category Guide is designed to facilitate searches for specific groups of items.


Other features include:

  • Access to information on millions of supplies (products) and services;

  • Information on the latest Schedule Program changes, including a "News" area;

  • Access to the complete list of all GSA and VA Schedules from the "View Schedule contracts" link;

  • Links to Technology Contracts—IT Schedule 70, the complete list of GWACs, and Network Services and Telecommunications Contracts;

  • Links to the GSA Advantage!® Online Shopping for E-Business and eBuy, GSA's electronic Request For Quotation (RFQ) system;

  • Ability to download current PDF versions of Schedules;

  • Ability to download contract award information in an Excel format by Category;

  • Links to contractor websites, email addresses, and text files containing contract terms and conditions;

  • Identification of Schedule contractors participating in Cooperative Purchasing and/or Disaster Recovery Purchasing; and

  • New and improved look for easier browsing and navigation.


How do I find my GSA Schedule?


Go to: www.gsaelibrary.gsa.gov and enter the base GSA contract number in the search window. Then continue to look for the GSA contract until you get to the Contractor Information page.


How do I update my GSA schedule elibrary?


To update - you must submit a GSA Advantage catalog update via SIP/EDI. Note - updating this information will update your company email and/or web address on GSA schedule elibrary, GSA eBuy and GSA Advantage.


Exciting changes coming to GSA Schedules e-Library


Beginning February 2005, exciting changes are coming to Schedules e-Library. Some of the major improvements include:

o New GSA Schedules e-Library Home Page

o Improved Search Capability

o Incorporating GWACs in e-Library

o E-Library news area, “In The Spotlight”

o New File Download Functionality

o New Contractor Text File

New GSA schedule elibrary

Home Page


The new Schedules e-Library incorporates a redesigned home page and banner which will simplify the site and improve usability. The home page will continue to offer the same features as before. In addition, several new features will be offered such as a Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) section, and an “In The Spotlight” news area that will provide important information on recent schedule/GWAC changes and issues.


Improved Search Capability


The search results will be simplified and easier to read.

In addition, users will be able to conduct a search from any page using the new search box added to the top-right of every Schedules e-Library page.


Incorporating GWACs in GSA schedule elibrary


GSA GWAC contract vehicles will be added to Schedules e-Library. These contract vehicles provide high quality, state-of-the-art, total integrated solutions for your IT requirements. GWACs have competition requirements that differ from MAS contracts and a delegation of authority is required prior to their use.
